Al-Dameer: 117 Palestinians Killed in the Gaza Strip During September, Including 15 Women, 27 Children, a Journalist, a Released Detainee, a Deportee, a Civil Defence Member, and Eight Who Succumbed to Previous Injuries
Al-Dameer Association for Human Rights – Gaza reports that Israeli occupation forces continue to perpetrate grave violations against civilians in the Gaza Strip as part of the ongoing genocidal war, accompanied by widespread attacks against civilians and civilian objects, in violation of the rules of international humanitarian law.
According to the monitoring and documentation conducted by Al-Dameer, 117 Palestinians were killed, including 27 children, 15 women, a released detainee under the Wafa al-Ahrar prisoner exchange deal, a person deported to the Gaza Strip, eight Palestinians who succumbed to injuries sustained previously, a Civil Defence member, and a journalist.
The patterns of targeting were documented as follows: 33 Palestinians, including one child, were killed after being targeted by drones outside areas where Israeli occupation forces were deployed.
Israeli occupation forces bombed residential homes without prior warning, resulting in the killing of nine Palestinians, including two children and four women.
Attacks targeting civilian vehicles resulted in the killing of 15 Palestinians, including two children and two women.
Israeli occupation forces shelled tents sheltering displaced persons, resulting in the killing of three Palestinians.
28 Palestinians, including nine children and four women, were killed after Israeli forces opened fire on civilians inside areas designated as “yellow zones.”
Palestinian medical sources reported the deaths of eight Palestinians who succumbed to injuries sustained previously, including one woman and two children.
21 Palestinians were killed as a result of the collapse of the Al-Sada building, which had been targeted by Israeli occupation forces during the genocidal war, including five women and 11 children.
According to data issued by the Palestinian Ministry of Health, these violations since the ceasefire came into effect have resulted in the killing of 1,439 Palestinians and the injury of 5,052 others, bringing the overall number of Palestinians killed since the beginning of the genocidal war on 7 October to 74,040, with 175,168 injured.
Al-Dameer Association for Human Rights stresses that these violations are not isolated incidents, but rather form part of a systematic policy pursued by Israeli occupation forces, aimed at undermining the lives of civilians in the Gaza Strip and destroying the conditions necessary for their survival there.
Al-Dameer further stresses that these violations reflect a dangerous pattern of excessive and unlawful use of force, amounting to war crimes and crimes against humanity, and require urgent international action to halt these violations, provide immediate protection to civilians, and ensure accountability and an end to impunity.
