Al-Dameer: 99 Palestinians Killed in April, Including 10 Children, 4 Women, a Paramedic, a Journalist, and 24 Civil Police Officers

Al-Dameer Association for Human Rights – Gaza affirms that Israeli occupation forces continue to perpetrate violations against the civilian population in the Gaza Strip, as part of the ongoing genocidal war and in grave breach of the ceasefire agreement between Palestinian factions and Israeli forces.

According to monitoring and documentation conducted by Al-Dameer, a total of 99 Palestinians were killed during April 2026, including 10 children, 4 women, 24 civil police personnel, as well as a journalist and a paramedic. The patterns of targeting were documented as follows:

  • Drone strikes outside areas of Israeli military presence resulted in the killing of 47 civilians, including 3 children and 17 civil police officers.
  • Shelling and targeting of homes without prior warning led to the killing of 3 civilians, including a pregnant woman carrying twins and two children.
  • Targeting of civilian vehicles resulted in the killing of 9 civilians, including a child and a journalist.
  • Targeting of an ambulance led to the killing of one paramedic.
  • Targeting of police vehicles resulted in the killing of 11 individuals, including a passing child, three detainees, and 7 civil police officers.
  • Live fire within so-called “yellow zones” led to the killing of 25 civilians, including 3 women and 3 children.
  • The collapse of a wall at Al-Ribat College, previously damaged during the war, resulted in the killing of 3 civilians.

According to data released by the Palestinian Ministry of Health, these violations have resulted in the killing of 825 Palestinians and the injury of 2,316 others since the ceasefire came into effect.

Al-Dameer emphasizes that these violations, which constitute serious breaches of international humanitarian law, are not isolated incidents, but rather part of a systematic policy pursued by Israeli occupation forces aimed at undermining civilian life in the Gaza Strip and destroying the means of survival.

The organization further stresses that these acts reflect a dangerous pattern of excessive and unlawful use of force, amounting to war crimes and crimes against humanity, necessitating urgent international action to halt these violations, ensure immediate protection for civilians, and guarantee accountability and an end to impunity.
