Al-Dameer: Escalating and Deadly Israeli Occupation Crimes Result in the Killing of 13 Civilians, Including Women and Children, Within 24 Hours
Al-Dameer Association for Human Rights – Gaza states that the Israeli occupation forces continue to perpetrate grave crimes and violations as part of their ongoing policy and practice of genocide, through the targeting of residential apartments, inhabited homes, and gatherings of civilians across various areas of the Gaza Strip. During the past 24 hours alone, these attacks resulted in the killing of 13 Palestinians, including five women and one child, and the injury of 32 others, some of whom sustained critical and life-threatening wounds.
According to field information documented by Al-Dameer Association for Human Rights, Israeli warplanes launched a series of simultaneous airstrikes during the early hours of Thursday, 4 June 2026, targeting four residential apartments in Gaza City. The attacks resulted in the killing of nine civilians, including four women and one child, and the injury of 18 others.
At approximately 4:00 a.m., Israeli warplanes targeted a residential apartment belonging to the Labad family on Al-Mukhabarat Street, northwest of Gaza City. The strike resulted in the killing of: Hassan Rabah Hassan Labad (43), his wife Manar Ibrahim Hassan Labad (41), their son Mohammad Hassan Rabah Labad (20), their daughter Rahaf Hassan Rabah Labad (18), and their child Taim Hassan Rabah Labad (15). The family’s daughter, Hala Hassan Rabah Labad (9), survived the attack that wiped out most members of her family.
At the same time, Israeli warplanes targeted a residential apartment in Al-Salam Tower (1) near Al-Khour Roundabout in the Tal Al-Hawa neighborhood, southwest of Gaza City. The attack resulted in the killing of: Asim Amin Shalash Shubair (38), Abdullah Atta Younis Abu Kaloub (41), and his wife Mariam Mohammad Abu Kaloub (37).
Minutes later, Israeli aircraft targeted a residential apartment belonging to the Mihna family in Al-Shati Refugee Camp, west of Gaza City, injuring eight civilians, some of whom were reported to be in critical condition.
Israeli warplanes also targeted a residential apartment belonging to the Al-Ghoul family in Abu Ghouri Building in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood, northwest of Gaza City. The strike resulted in the killing of Mohammad Nu’man Zaki Abu Marq (42) and his wife Nabila Salem Abu Marq (33).
At approximately 12:00 noon, Israeli warplanes targeted a group of civilians near the Applied College west of Khan Younis, resulting in the killing of one civilian and the injury of several others. At the time of issuing this statement, complete information regarding the victims was not yet available.
In a related context, at approximately 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, 3 June 2026, Israeli occupation forces targeted a group of civilians near Makki Roundabout in the center of Al-Maghazi Refugee Camp in the Central Governorate, resulting in the killing of two brothers: Saqr Khalil Abu Karim (25), and Mo’men Khalil Abu Karim (23).
In addition, the body of Hassan Mohammad Abdul Aziz Salama (66) was transferred to Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital after he succumbed to injuries sustained in an Israeli drone strike in the Al-Mughraqa area, north of the Central Governorate.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health also announced the death of Rawiya Ahmad Mohammad Abu Madi (38), who succumbed to wounds sustained in an attack targeting Ghaith Camp in the Al-Mawasi area of Khan Younis last week.
Al-Dameer Association for Human Rights reiterates that the continued targeting of civilians and civilian objects, including inhabited homes and residential apartments, constitutes a serious violation of international humanitarian law and international human rights law.
Accordingly, the Association calls upon the international community, the United Nations, the Human Rights Council, and all relevant international bodies to take urgent action to halt these escalating violations, ensure international protection for Palestinian civilians, hold those responsible accountable before international justice mechanisms, and guarantee that perpetrators of war crimes do not enjoy impunity.
